Abstract:
A sound signal processing method that involves acquiring a sound signal, determining a classification for the sound signal, setting a plurality of virtual speakers, generating a first sound signal that has undergone localization processing that localizes sound to one of the plurality of virtual speakers when the classification determined for the sound signal is a first classification, generating a second sound signal that has undergone distribution processing that distributively localizes sound to two or more of the plurality of virtual speakers when the classification determined for the sound signal is a second classification, adding the first sound signal and the second sound signal to generate an aggregate signal, and outputting the aggregate signal to a plurality of actual speakers.
