Abstract:

This sound system for an elevator comprises: two or more speaker cabinets that are disposed on the interior of a suspended ceiling affixed to a ceiling panel of an elevator car; an input device into which audio content to be emitted from the speaker cabinets to the car interior is input; and an acoustic field control device that subjects the audio content to phase control and reverberation time control, and causes a sound wave based on the audio content to be emitted from the speaker cabinets to the car interior. Each speaker cabinet has: a housing that is disposed on the interior of the suspended ceiling; and a speaker unit that is disposed on the interior of the housing and has an emission surface for emitting sound waves.
