Disclosed is a space-saving flushing apparatus, comprising a water pipe, a switching unit, and a first flushing pipe and a second flushing pipe that communicate with the switching unit; the water pipe is provided with a water intake pipe section, a transition section and a water outlet pipe section, that communicate with one another, wherein a water blocking part is provided within the transition section, and the water blocking part has a predetermined height so as to stop some waterflow from flowing into the water outlet pipe section; the switching unit is provided on the water outlet pipe section and communicates with the water outlet pipe section; and by switching the water outlet direction of the water outlet pipe section, the switching unit cuts or communicates water supply between the first flushing pipe or the second flushing pipe and the water outlet pipe section. By implementing the present invention, the volume of a machine core occupied by a flushing apparatus can be reduced, and siphon can be effectively prevented.
