Abstract:

A spark recognition-based hot-rolled coiling lateral guide plate control method: lateral guide plates (11) are adjusted on the basis of the width of a spark generated by friction between a hot-rolled plate strip (20) and the lateral guide plates (11); an industrial camera (9) is provided obliquely above the lateral guide plates (11); an acquired image photographed by the industrial camera (9) is analyzed in real-time by a detection system; in comparison to the width of the spark, the level of sparks generated over the lateral guide plates (11) on either side is determined; with respect to each lateral guide plate (11) of either side, the lateral guide plate (11) of that either side is controlled and adjusted on the basis of a spark width, MS, corresponding to the lateral guide plate (11) of that either side; with respect to the lateral guide plate (11) of either side, a spark width offset, ΔMS, of that either side is acquired from ΔMS = MS − Maim, a positional adjustment magnitude, ΔWS, for the lateral guide plate (11) of that either side is produced on the basis of formula (I), and a pressure adjustment magnitude, ΔPS, for the lateral guide plate (11) of that either side is produced on the basis of formula (II). The method allows the hot-rolled plate strip (20) to always be located at a relative center position of a steel coil, reduces wears of the lateral guide plates (11), and at the same time, avoids various defects and problems of the steel coil and allows the steel coil to be coiled in an excellent shape.
