Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a spatial position calculation device that calculates, with high accuracy, the position of a measurement object in a space, even when the measurement object is moving at high speed. [Solution] This spatial position calculation device comprises: transmission units 1 to 3 that transmit, at a prescribed time interval, a modulated audio signal obtained by modulating an original audio signal; a reception unit 4 that receives the modulated audio signal; a calculation unit 5 that calculates the distances to the reception unit from the transmission units or from the spatial position coordinates of either the transmission units or the reception unit, on the basis of timing for the arrival at the reception unit of the modulated audio signal, said timing being determined from a cross correlation calculation of a reference signal generated from the modulated audio signal and a reception signal of the reception unit; and a scale factor modifying means 47 for modifying the scale factor of the reference signal or the reception signal in a temporal direction.
