Abstract:
A spatial-tempora l data management system for managing time-series data mapped to a space-time domain, wherein said system comprises a processor for executing a program, memory for storing the program, and a plurality of storage devices for storing the time-series data. The processor divides the space-time domain by time and space to generate a plurality of time- and space-divided domains, and, in order for each of the plurality of time- and space-divided domains to be uniquely identified in consideration of the proximity of time and space in the time- and space-divided domains, assigns an identifier represented by a unidimensional integer value, and determines placement in the plurality of storage devices for spatial-temporal data in a range prescribed using the assigned identifier.
