Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a speaker system having an acoustic structure which enables sound waves to be controlled within a speaker housing so as to improve bass sound reproduction capability and achieve a purification of reproduced sound. [Solution] A speaker system 1 comprises: a housing 3 in which a speaker 2 is installed; and a narrow tube bundle structural body 6 that comprises a plurality of narrow tube bundles 5 and that is disposed more toward a back surface side in the housing than a vibration plate 4 of the speaker. Each of the narrow tube bundles 5 of the narrow tube bundle structural body 6 has an opened end 7 at one end thereof and a closed end 8 at the other end thereof. Sound waves oscillated by the vibration plate 4 of the speaker enter from the opened end 7 of the narrow tube bundle 5, pass through the inside of the narrow tube bundle 5, and are reflected at the closed end 8 so as to be returned to the position of the vibration plate 4 of the speaker. The length of each narrow tube bundle 5 is varied so that an acoustic passage distance is set individually.
