Abstract:
The present invention makes it easy to produce a spectacle lens that has an optical element embedded therein. This spectacle lens production method is a production method for a spectacle lens 2 that comprises: a base part 2 that is formed from a resin material and has a convex object-side surface and a concave eyeball-side surface; and an optical element 12 that is formed from a different material than the base part and is embedded in the base part. The lens production method comprises: a step for arranging the optical element inside a cavity 28 of a molding mold that includes an openable/closable first mold 20 and second mold 24; a step for introducing the resin material that forms the base part of the spectacle lens into the cavity of the molding mold; a step for curing the resin material of the resin that forms the base part and obtaining the spectacle lens; a step for disassembling the molding mold; and a step for removing the spectacle lens from the molding mold.
