Abstract:
An apparatus for eliminating or reducing the distribution of infectious aerosols and splitters produced during dental procedures, which make it possible to perform dental practices with a lower risk of transmitting contagious diseases between individuals. The apparatus includes a crescent-shaped piece to connect to the headrest of the dental unit, a glass bubble to provide proper vision and isolate the producing aerosols around the production site, a middle frame containing a moving accordion for proper positioning of the dentist's hands and two filters in the outlet tube for ventilation and purification of output air.
