Abstract:
A spindle synchronous control apparatus controls the speed of a main spindle induction motor (130a) for driving a main spindle (1004) for holding a work (1003) and the speed of a rotary guide bush induction motor (130b) for driving a rotary guide bush (1005) for guiding the work (1003). The apparatus comprises spindle speed correction calculating means (41) for calculating a rotational speed command to the guide bush spindle induction motor (130b) on the basis of the clearance between the work (1003) and the rotary guide bush (1005)&semi and rotational speed data converting means (44) for controlling the guide bush spindle induction motor (130b) by using the rotational speed command calculated by the spindle speed correction calculating means (41) as the rotational speed command to the guide bush spindle induction motor (130b). When the work has a shape equivalent to that of a round bar, no high current flows through the motor for driving the rotary guide bush in cutting the work and accordingly no heat is generated.
