Abstract:
[PROBLEMS] To enhance practicality of a spiral spring drive unit utilizing
restoring force of a spiral spring generated when the spiral spring is released
after being wound. [MEANS FOR SOLVING THE PROBLEMS] A winding gear (7) for winding
a spiral spring (6) and a drive gear (8) driven when the wound spiral spring (6)
is released are installed independently of each other. A gear train (13) on the
winding side is installed between the winding gear (7) and the spiral spring (6).
A gear train (16) on the drive side is installed between the spiral spring (6)
and the drive gear (8). A first idler gear (11) and a second idler gear (15) are
installed in the gear trains (13, 16), respectively. Each idler gear is adapted
such that when it is rotated in one direction, it is meshed with the gear train (13,
16), and that when it is reversely rotated, it is disengaged from the gear train
(13, 16). Also, it is adapted that the rotation direction of the winding gear
(7) when it winds the spiral spring (6) is the same as the rotation direction of
the drive gear (8) when the wound spiral spring (6) is released.
