Abstract:
A spiral tube 31 is provided with: a first cylindrical member 35 (36) provided at one end and formed in a cylindrical shape, the first cylindrical member 35 (36) being disposed in an outer circumferential part of an insertion part 3 of an endoscope 2 inserted in a subject, and the first cylindrical member 35 (36) being provided so as to be rotatable about the insertion axis of the insertion part 3 by the drive force of a driving part 71; a second cylindrical member 35 (35) provided at the other end and formed in a cylindrical shape; an outer-layer tube 201 having a longitudinal axis, one end of the outer-layer tube 201 being fixed to the first cylindrical member; an inner-layer tube 202 covered by the outer-layer tube so that the outer-layer tube can slide in the direction along the longitudinal axis X, one end of the inner-layer tube being fixed to the second cylindrical member; and a retaining part 200 for restricting movement of the outer-layer tube relative to the inner-layer tube to a predetermined range and retaining the inner-layer tube inside the outer-layer tube, the retaining part 200 being provided to the other-end side which is the opposite side from the one end of the outer-layer tube.
