A sponge slotting machine, comprising a body (1), a conveyor mechanism, and a slotting mechanism. The conveyor mechanism comprises a first conveyor frame, a second conveyor frame, and a stepping motor (12); the stepping motor drives a transmission shaft of the second conveyor frame by means of a transmission chain (13) and a sprocket (14) which is connected to a transmission shaft (19); a central conveyor belt (10) is sleeved on the middles of transmission shafts of the first conveyor frame and the second conveyor frame; the width of the central conveyor belt is smaller than the width of a sponge (2) to be processed; the sponge to be processed is driven by the central conveyor belt to move forward in a stepping manner. A reciprocating feed motor (11) and slotting shafts (16) are further comprised; there are two slotting shafts, which are symmetrically mounted between the first conveyor frame and the second conveyor frame; the slotting shafts are driven by a motor to rotate; milling cutters arranged in multiple circles are provided on each of the slotting shafts; the slotting shafts intermittently get close to and away from the central conveyor belt. The slotting machine can perform full-automatic slotting on side surfaces of various sponges, thereby improving the working efficiency and the appearance.
