Abstract:
It's a inventive developed sportive device to improve most of volleyball skills specially for high level players and it doesn't block the continuity of the training, and it's useful in individual and group training. • If parts (1 :5) is used the result will be device shown in figure (2), it will be a moving curtain or a net holding 3 small nets as alternatives for block and the horizontal movement of curtain is controlled by the pulling arm And the device is doing the following:- • Developing the attack skill specially spiking by directing the ball away from the block alternatives • Training the player to cover behind the spiker and attacking from the rebounded ball of the block • Training the player to cover behind the blocker and attacking from the rebounded ball of the defender • If parts (1,2+6,7,8,9,10,11,12) the result will be device shown in figure 1 (A-B) it will be 3 metallic bars moving on axes and joints they are connected by elastic strip from each end. And the device is doing the following :- • Developing the accuracy of volleyball skills • Decreasing the sprain ankle injuries during training and training matches.

Protection elements

First element :-

It's a inventive developed sportive device to improve most of volleyball skills specially for high level players and it doesn't block the continuity of the training

If parts (1 :5) is used the result will be device shown in figure (2) , it will be a moving curtain or a net holding 3 small nets as alternatives for block and the horizontal movement of curtain is controlled by the pulling arm

And the device is doing the following :-

• Developing the attack skill specially spiking by directing the ball away from the block alternatives

• Training the player to cover behind the spiker and attacking from the rebounded ball of the block

• Training the player to cover behind the blocker and attacking from the rebounded ball of the defender

• If parts (1 ,2+6,7,8,9,10,11,12) the result will be device shown in figure 1 (A-B) it will be 3 metallic bars moving on axes and joints they are connected by elastic strip from each end .

And the device is doing the following:-

Developing the accuracy of volleyball skills

Decreasing the sprain ankle injuries during training and training matches. The device includes the following :-

1. (2) Rods fixed on the net posts by (2) O ring for each rod, or by a cylinder attached to the net post of (20-35 mm) length and (25-27 mm) diameter .

2. Pulling arm which is a U shaped rod with (2) chains fixed on it distance between them is (40-50 cm) , the chains attached to the upper and lower rubber strips which carry the block alternatives to control it horizontal movement either long or short.

3. Upper wire + rubber strip fixed to the upper side of each rod and lower wire + rubber strip fixed to slider connection for each rod to carry (3) small nets which work as block alternative.

4. (3) Small nets work as block alternative (single-double-triple) and can be controlled by the pulling arm.

5. (2) Chains, one of the two ends of chains connected to pulling arm, the other is attached to the elastic strip.

6. Metallic rod fixed to rod (1), slider connection (1) controlling the movement of the rod and rod (2) moves outward on this rod.

7. Rod fixed to rod (6) by slider connection (2) to control its linear and rotational movement.

8. Slider connection (1) which controlling linear and rotational movement of rod (1 ,6).

9. Slider connection (2) which controlling linear and rotational movement of rod (6,7).

10. Locking arm.

11. Elastic strips connecting the end of each rod and his twin to form the required shape to do the function.

(2) metallic rod its length is (110) cm and diameter of (22-25) mm both rods fixed to the net posts vertically by O rings and bolts and its vertical motion is controlled by slider connection (7- 10) cm , and is fixed horizontally to the net posts by O ring with a slider connection (6.5) cm , slider connection (1) controls the rod horizontal motion

• Third element :- (as in first element)

It's a U shaped rod its length is (80-90) and diameter (19-21) one of its arms has 10 holes , the rod is used as pulling arm to control the movement of block alternatives as shown in figure (2)

When it attached to rod (6) we can control the length , and the holes is used to fix the elastic strips

• Fourth element :- (as in first element)

Upper wire + rubber strip with a length of (10-1 1 m) and width (5-7 cm) ,the wire is fixed to the upper side of each rod

Lower wire + rubber strip with a length of ( 10- 1 1 m) and width (5-7 cm) ,the wire is fixed to the slider connection on a distance of (80-90 cm) from the upper side to carry the block alternatives .

• Fifth element :- (as in first element)

(3) nets length of each is ( 80-90 cm) works as block alternatives (single - double -trouble ) and moves on a cylindrical plastic sliding connection which is moving on the wire its length (40-50) , movement of the connection can be controlled by the pulling arm .

• Sixth element :- (as in first element)

(2) Chains each of their ends are attached to elastic strip and the other end is attached to the pulling arm (rod 2). • Seventh element :- (as in first element) metallic rod length of (80-90) cm diameter of (16-18) mm attached to rod (1) and slider connection (1) controls its linear motion , rod (2) moves outward on this rod , the value of linear motion is controlled by a pin and the holes in rod (2)

• Eighth element :- (as in first element) a metallic rod its length is (75-80) cm and its diameter is (16- 18) mm each end of the rod has a hole at a distance of (5-7) cm , the rod is attached to the rod (6) by slider connection (2) to manage its linear and rotational motion by two arms

• Ninth element :- (as in first element)

It is a slider connection with two levels , the first level is a slider part which slides over the rod (1 ) 1 axial direction , the second level is a rotational part which rotates around a plain perpendicular to Rod (1) axis and the rotational part has a hole where Rod( 6) gonna be assembled and the hole have a tolerance which going to allow Rod (6) to move linearly in axial movements.

It's a slider connection has the same features of slider (1 ) but it's smaller and made of plastic and locked by a threaded bolt to lock its motion in the linear direction and the rotational direction

• Eleventh element :- (as in first element)

Locking arm A threaded metal arm which lock the slider (1 ) and prevent both the rotational and linear motion

• Twelfth element :- (as in first element)

AMENDED CLAIMS

Claim 1: a practice volleyball device to train the players on controlling the direction of the ball away from the block wall and to train them on the unexpected balls reflecting from the block wall and also to be trained on the different defense ways and moves behind the block wall

A - a movable net fixed between two supports

B - for changeable-armed block wall

C - a hinge the controls the motion of the block wall arms

D - a rubber rope

E - manual pulling arm

F - automatic pulling arm

Claim 2: (as in claim 1) a volleyball practice device consists of a net fixed between two supports that could be hung on the four changeable armed block wall and the coach controls its motion coming and going based on his technical vision during the simultaneous attack from both court sides and inside its upper and lower tapes there is a plastic tube with a net wire inside it that allows easy sliding of the net on the net wire that both sides fixed to the net supports which allow the courts to change the position of the block wall on the net to train the players on directing the balls away from the block wall.

Claim 3: (as in claim 1) a volleyball practice device consists of four changeable armed block wall hung on a net by a piston or an a afiz in the distance between each arm and other on the upper and lower tapes of the net and each block wall consists of four arms each arm consists of two rods the lower one is fixed on the net and the upper one is fixed above the net to block the spiked ball and connects between the two rods a hinge and a plastic tube connects between the four arms of the block wall from the top and a rod that's made of a rigid substance from the middle and the bottom connects between the hinges that control the motion of the block wall above the net and from the bottom there is a metallic rod covered with plastic passes through an opening in the lower side of each arm.

Claim 4 : as in claim 1 a volleyball practice device contains a hinge controls the motion of the block wall arms above the net forward and backward in an angle of thirty degrees to make the shape of the block wall changes continuously whenever it hit the spiked ball so that the ball reflects each time in a different and unexpected ways to train the players on the reflected balls from the block wall

Claim 5 : as in claim l a volleyball practice device contains a rubber rod fixed with the net support and both of its sides by the upper and lower rings of the net tapes and it returns the net to its position opposite to the pulling motio

Claim 6 : as in claim 1 a volleyball practice device contains the manual arrow- shaped pulling arm made of a rigid substance that is characterized by its low weight and it is connected to the upper and lower rings of the net by a rope from one side and by an opening in the upper and lower sides of the pulling arm from the other side which the coach can control the motion of the block wall through it by pulling the arm to train the players on directing the ball away from the block wall and also to train the player on the reflected balls from the block wall and the unexpected balls as well as to train the players behind the block wall on the different ways and moves of the defense and correcting mistakes.

Claim 7 : as in claim 1 a volleyball practice device contains an automatic pulling arm which works exactly as the manual pulling arm but it's continuous and it consists of a unit contains four keys

- An on-and-off key.

- A key to control the duration.

- A key to control the pulling distance.

- A key to control the pulling speed.

and this unit is connected to the manual pulling arm by a rope one of its sides is fixed to the opening in the middle of the manual pulling arm and the other side of the unit.

Sport Device For Developing Volleyaball skills

Field of the invention:-

• It's a inventive developed sportive device to improve most of volleyball skills specially for high level players and it doesn't block the continuity of the training, and it's useful in individual and group training.

Background of the invention

Device (1) :-

Volleyball Attack It™

Detailed description of the invention

The device consists of :-

• Rod (1) :-

2 solid columns their length are (85-1 10) cm and diameter of (22-25) cm have a hole at distance of (2 cm) from the upper side. A pulley is fixed in one of the columns by a (0 head bolt) mounted to the previous hole. The other column has a hole at a distance of (4 cm )from the upper side which has a (O head bolt) mounted to it. Both columns have a slider connection which has( 2 holes ). One of the holes has a (O head bolt) mounted to it to control the slider vertical movement and fix it to a distance of (80-90cm ) from the upper side of the column and also to attach the net wire . the column is connected to the net post by 2 rings for vertical fixation and for horizontal fixation there are a metal connection (6.25cm ) or by a hollow cylinder its length is (20-30 cm) diameter (25-27 mm).

• Rod (2) :- is a hollow cylinder of (U) shape its length is( 90 cm )and a diameter of (19 mm) on of its arms has (10 holes) and covered by a plastic housing to satisfy the security factor and it's used as tension arm after fixing two (O head bolt) on both the first and last hole to have a connection between the chain and the elastic strip ,and the length of rod (6) can be controlled by rod (2) .

• A net wire length its is (lO-l l m) and has a (O head bolt) on each side

The wire is attached to the two columns by the (O head bolt) which is fixed to slider connections at a distance of (80-90cm) from the upper wire . A 3 cylindrical plastic connections their length are( 40 cm )diameter of (14 cm) are moving horizontally on each wire An elastic strip it's length is (10-11 m) width of( 7 cm) is fixed to the upper side of the columns by (O head bolt) . and another elastic strip with the same dimensions is fixed by (O head bolt) in the slider connection in the lower side of each colum

• Between the upper and the lower strip there are 3 blocking nets working as a substitution of real blocks, each net consists of 4 vertical strips its length is( 160 cm) and width is( 7cm ), each strip rotates around the upper and lower net wire to maintain at height of (80-90cm ). each strip has a sticker to control its working length ,the distance between each strip is (3-4) cm .

2 horizontal strips its length is( 40 -50 cm) and width (7 cm ), the distance between each strip is( 16 cm) and fixed on a distance of (20 cm) from each side of the original strips .

Each strip of the net has an internal plastic chip its length is (40 cm )and (7 cm) width

• A chain connecting the lower and upper elastic strips with the tension arm (rod 2) by a (O head bolt) on each side of the chain , the tension arm is to control the position of the blocking net motion

• Rod (6) :-

A metal rod its length is ( 82 cm) its diameter (16mm) attached to rod (1) slider connection and moves linearly on rod (1) and rotationally (360 degree) and controlled by the locking arm in slider connection (1) . rod (2) moves linearly on rod (3) to outside .and we can control the distance of movement by the holes by a pin fixed to rod (6) on a distance of (5cm ) form the end of the rod .

• Rod (7) :-

A metal rod its length is (75cm) and diameter (16 cm) has a hole on each side at distance of (5cm). and attached to rod (6) by a joint . Controlled by 2 hands , one for its linear movement and the other for its rotational movement. • Slider connection 1 :

It is a slider connection with two levels, the first level is a slider part which slides over the rod (1) 1 axial direction , the second level is a rotational part which rotates around a plain perpendicular to Rod (1) axis and the rotational part has a hole where Rod (6) gonna be assembled and the hole have a tolerance which going to allow Rod (6) to move linearly in axial movements.

Slider connection 2:

has the same features of slider (1) but it's smaller and made of plastic and locked by a threaded bolt to lock its motion in the linear direction and the rotational direction

Locking arm :

A threaded metal arm which lock the slider (1) and prevent both the rotational and linear motion

Rod (2) :-

A metal (U shape) rod the length of one arm is (90cm) diameter (19m.m) one of it's arms have (10) holes to control the required length. And covered by a polymer cover.

Rod (6) :-

A metal rod its length is ( 82 cm) its diameter (16mm) attached to rod (1) slider connection and moves linearly on rod (1) and rotationally (360 degree) and controlled by the locking arm in slider connection (1) . rod (2) moves linearly on rod (3) to outside .and we can control the distance of movement by the holes by a pin fixed to rod (6) on a distance of (5cm ) form the end of the rod .

Rod (7) :-

A metal rod its length is (75cm) and diameter (16 cm) has a hole on each side at distance of (5cm). and attached to rod (6) by a joint. Controlled by 2 hands, one for its linear movement and the other for its rotational movement.

Pulling arm a U-shaped and linked to a rubber strip (upper and lower) by a chain and to control the distance of the rubber strip either long or short

(2) Plastic-coated metal wire length (10 -11 m) to carry the block alternatives

(3) Plastic cylinder length (40 -50 cm) diameter (14 - 16 mm) operates as a link to help block alternatives to slide on the wire

(2) Rubber strips (10 - 11 meters) and width (5-7 mm) block alternatives is installed on them and pulling arm controls the horizontal length movement either long or short.

(3) block alternatives is a network of rubber (80 - 90 cm) length and width (40-50 cm)
