Abstract:
This sports equipment is structured such that: a pole in a long rod shape is provided with a grip portion of a shape gently curving forward at the upper end thereof, and a stirrup portion for inserting a foot or shoe at the lower end thereof; and a connecting portion formed of sewn fabric is provided between the connecting portions of the pole and a strip-shaped covering part of the stirrup portion that covers the instep, side surface, and bottom surface of the foot or shoe. Even if the pole inclines relative to the ground upon landing or leaving the ground, the covered portion of the foot or shoe can maintain a position parallel to the ground, and the distance between the pole and the end portion of the foot or shoe is maintained; therefore, injury due to the pole impacting the foot from above upon landing is avoided, and safe practice is made possible.
