Disclosed are a spray detection spray head having a self-cleaning function, and a toilet. The spray detection spray head is mounted at a spray port at the bottom of a toilet bowl, and comprises a spray head body and a detection sensor. A spray hole that can be communicated with a water seal of the toilet is formed in the spray head body. The detection sensor is disposed on the spray head body. The spray head body is provided with a transparent detection window corresponding to a sensing head of the detection sensor. The side of the detection window facing away from the sensing head is a detection side. A self-cleaning hole is further formed in the spray head body. Water entering the self-cleaning hole can wash the detection side, and then be discharged into the water seal of the toilet. According to the present invention, contaminants can be effectively prevented from remaining on the detection side of the detection window, thereby preventing the contaminants remaining on the detection side from affecting the accuracy of detection data of the detection sensor.
