Title:
SPUNBONDED NONWOVEN FABRIC AND FILTER USING SAME
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2012/004905
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Provided are: a spunbonded nonwoven fabric that consists of single-component polyester-based fibers and that is produced by embossing and has a high basis weight and high rigidity which were difficult to attain in the prior art; a filter base material which combines excellent pleatability, excellent pleat retention property and durability while keeping filter performance; and a filter using the filter base material. A spunbonded nonwoven fabric which is obtained by subjecting a fiber aggregate that consists of stacked single-component polyester-based fibers to thermocompression bonding using one pair of rolls, namely, an embossing roll and a flat metal roll, and which exhibits a basis weight of 150 to 400g/m2, a longitudinal bending repulsion of 20 to 60mN, and a longitudinal tensile strength of 400N/5cm or more.
