Abstract:
A squirrel-cage motor rotor comprises: a plurality of conductor bars (4) disposed at constant intervals in a circumferential direction of a rotor core (1); a short-circuit ring (5) connected to an end of each of the conductor bars (4); and a reinforcing cover (6) of which an axial direction surface contacts an axial direction end surface of the short-circuit ring (5). The reinforcing cover (6) is enclosed by casting in the short-circuit ring (5), and a holding ring (7) is mounted on the outer circumferential surface of the flange portion (6b) of the reinforcing cover (6) and the outer circumferential surface of the short-circuit ring (5) by an interference fit.
