Abstract:
A stacker crane (1) is configured in such a manner that a first mast (13a) and a second mast (13b) are arranged in the X-direction and extend in the vertical direction. Connection plates (29) are four plate-shaped members mounted to the lower parts of both the first mast (13a) and the second mast (13b) at positions on side surfaces thereof which face the Y-direction. Each of the members has an upper section (29a) affixed to the first mast (13a) or the second mast (13b), and also has a lower section (29b) wider than the upper section in the X-direction. A first lower hollow frame (27a) and a second lower hollow frame (27b) are a pair of hollow members which are disposed respectively on both sides of each of the first mast (13a) and the second mast (13b) in the Y-direction and which extend in the X-direction, and the first lower hollow frame (27a) and the second lower hollow frame (27b) are affixed to the lower sections (29b) of the connection plates (29). Travel wheels (49) are supported by the connection plates (29) and roll on a lower guide rail (5b).
