Abstract:
A stainless steel sheet for fuel cell separators, which is provided with: a base that is composed of a stainless steel sheet; and metal particles having low electrical resistivity. The surface of the base is provided with a recessed and projected structure wherein the average interval between projected portions is from 10 nm to 300 nm (inclusive); the metal particles having low electrical resistivity are configured to have an average particle diameter of from 50 nm to 1.0 μm; the metal particles having low electrical resistivity are adhered to the surface of the recessed and projected structure of the base at a density of 1.0 or more particles per 1 μm2; and the ratio of the average particle diameter of the metal particles having low electrical resistivity to the average interval between projected portions is set to 1.0-15.0.
