Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a stair ascending/descending work device according to which a lightweight mechanism can be achieved by adopting four telescopic arms with different heights, and which can quickly ascend and descend stairs with a small number of movement processes due to optimization of ascending and descending movements and is equipped with a steering device and a drive device to enable work on stair planes. [Solution] This stair ascending/descending work device comprises: a plurality of wheels on the bottom surface of a body; four telescopic arms on the front left and right and rear left and right of the body; and a plurality of wheels at the tips of the arms. This stair ascending/descending work device moves horizontally with the wheels of the body, extends the four arms to lift the vehicle body upward, drives the wheels of the arms to move horizontally, and after the completion of the movement, retracts the arms to lower the body and ground the wheels of the body on the horizontal surface. By repeating this movement, it is possible to ascend stairs, and by applying this movement, it is also possible to descend stairs. In addition, this stair ascending/descending work device can move to the left or to the right as necessary to work on the stair plane.
