Abstract:
Disclosed are a staircase code decoding method and a staircase code decoding apparatus. The method comprises: step 1, continuously obtaining L subcode blocks as subcode blocks to be decoded in a sliding window; step 2, grouping and decoding the subcode blocks to be decoded in the sliding window, and outputting the first S first updated subcode blocks as the decoding result; step 3, sliding the sliding window backwards by S subcode blocks, and grouping and decoding front subcode blocks to be decoded; step 4, grouping and separately decoding last M subcode blocks to be decoded in the sliding window, and outputting the first S second updated subcode blocks as the decoding result; and step 5, sliding the sliding window backwards by the length of S subcode blocks, and returning to step 2 until decoding results of all the subcode blocks are outputted.
