Abstract:
A staircase code decoding method, comprising: step 1, continuously obtaining L subcode blocks to act as subcode blocks to be decoded in a sliding window, L being a positive integer; step 2, grouping the subcode blocks to be decoded to obtain groups to be decoded, decoding according to a sequence from back to front, sequentially obtaining update subcode blocks according to decoding results, repeatedly decoding and updating the subcode blocks to be decoded in this manner k times, and outputting the first M update subcode blocks to act as the decoding results, wherein K is a positive integer greater than or equal to 1, and M is a positive integer less than L; step 3, sliding the sliding window backwards by the length of M subcode blocks, recombining the update subcode blocks remaining in the sliding window with the subcode blocks sliding into the sliding window to act as the subcode blocks to be decoded in the sliding window, and returning to step 2, until the decoding results of all the subcode blocks are outputted. The present invention reduces hardware circuit implementation complexity, and shortens decoding time delays.
