Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a stairway illumination device which can be easily installed in a stairway and fits in with the stairway. The present invention is a stairway illumination device that is installed in a stairway provided with a plurality of treads, and comprises a surface light emitter which is provided between the treads adjacent to each other in a vertical direction and illuminates the tread surface of the tread located at a lower position out of the treads adjacent to each other.
