Abstract:
In order to make it possible to easily use a single stapling device as both an eyeglass clinch-mode stapling device and a flat clinch-mode stapling device, the stapling device is provided, so as to be capable of movement relative to each other, with a staple-punching part (knock pin (121)) for punching out a staple (301), a paper support base (top plate (141)), and a clincher (131) for bending the legs of the staple (301), and is also equipped with a control unit (action timing control unit (230)) for variably controlling the movement timing of the staple-punching part and the clincher (131) with respect to the support base.
