Abstract:
This state determination device for determining that a driver of a vehicle is in a state of having difficulty in driving, is provided with: a driver abnormality detection unit (71) that detects an abnormality in the state of the driver; a complementary abnormality detection unit (72) that detects an abnormality in a driving operation inputted by the driver and/or an abnormality in the traveling state of the vehicle; and an integrated determination unit (75) that does not determine a state of having difficulty in driving when only an abnormality in the state of the driver is detected by the driver abnormality detection unit, but determines that the driver is in the state of having difficulty in driving when, in addition to an abnormality in the state of the driver, an abnormality in the driving operation and/or the traveling state is detected by the complementary abnormality detection unit.
