Abstract:
This state determination device is for determining the state of a person, and is equipped with: an eyes open/closedness degree detection unit for detecting the degree of open/closedness of the eyes of the person from an image obtained by capturing the person's face; a closed-eye rate calculation unit for calculating the person's closed-eye rate using an eye open/closedness degree detected during a first prescribed period; a feature quantity variation calculation unit for calculating a feature quantity variation in the closed-eye rate using the calculated closed-eye rate during a second prescribed period; and an inattentiveness state determination unit for determining the person's inattentiveness state on the basis of the calculated feature quantity variation.
