Abstract:
Provided is a station-side device (100) of a passive optical network system (1) which can set a plurality of grant cycles that are cycles for allocating bands to subscriber-side devices (101-1 to 101-n), the station-side device comprising: a grant cycle calculation unit (12) for calculating, for each of a plurality of slices that are created by subdividing a network that is used for communication with the subscriber-side devices (101-1 to 101-n), a first grant cycle and a second grant cycle that are candidates for a maximum grant cycle that is the maximum value of the grant cycle for when bands are being allocated to the slices on the basis of a request delay of communication performed by using the slices; and a grant cycle allocation unit (13) for setting the grant cycle to be used for when bands are being allocated to each of the slices on the basis of the first grant cycle and the second grant cycle of each of the plurality of slices calculated by the grant cycle calculation unit (12).
