Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of being unable to accurately determine rest when a device is rotating at a constant velocity. Provided is a stationary determination device that determines whether or not a device is in a stationary state, and comprising: a distribution determination unit that determines whether or not the distribution of angular velocity data output from an angular velocity sensor mounted to the device has predetermined distribution characteristics; a determination unit that compares a value for the angular velocity data output by the angular velocity sensor and a predetermined first threshold value; and a rest determination unit that determines whether or not the device is at rest, on the basis of the distribution characteristics of the angular velocity data and the results of the comparison between the angular velocity data value and the first threshold value.
