Abstract:
This stator is provided with: a stator core (16), of a substantially cylindrical shape, having slots (24, 25); a pair of insulators for sandwiching the stator core (16) from both sides in the axial direction of the substantially cylindrical shape; and, windings (8, 9) annularly wound in the stator core (16) with the pair of insulators interposed therebetween. Each of the pair of insulators has: a base section that has a planar section orthogonal to the axial direction and contacts an end section of the stator core (16) in the axial direction of the substantially cylindrical shape; a wall section that extends axially along the inner wall of the slot (24, 25) from the base section; and, a slot cell (51, 53), of a substantially cylindrical shape, fitted to the inner periphery of the wall section.
