Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing a stator that provides fine inter-coil insulation performance and is easy to produce. This stator for a rotating electrical machine is provided with a coil, an insulation member that comes into contact with the coil, and a core part that forms a housing space for the coil and the insulation member. The insulation member is formed of a first insulation member and a second insulation member that are combined with each other so as to form a rectangle shape in which the coil is to be inserted. The first insulation member has: a plate-like first base which is disposed along an inner wall of the housing space; and a plurality of first protrusions which are arranged side by side in a radial direction in such a manner as to protrude from the first base toward the second insulation member. The second insulation member has: a plate-like second base which is disposed along the inner wall of the housing space; and a plurality of second protrusions which are arranged side by side in a radial direction in such a manner as to protrude from the second base toward the first insulation member. The first protrusions and the second protrusions come into contact with each other on a circumferentially-extending surface.
