Abstract:
In this stator (10): a pair of coil ends (32) include both end portions (34) of a coil (14) in the axial direction of a stator core (12); a pair of securing members (16) are inserted into gaps (40) between teeth (22) and the pair of coil ends (32) so as to contact the teeth (22) and both end portions (34), and secure the coil (14) to the stator core (12); the end portions (34) have a tapered shape that is inclined relative to the radial direction of the stator core (12); and the pair of securing members (16) are inclined along the tapered shape of the end portions (34).
