Abstract:
The stator according to the present disclosure is inserted into a circular ring member and comprises: a cylindrical stator core; a coil having a coil end projecting axially outward from the end surface of the stator core in the axial direction and provided around the stator core; and a cylindrical covering portion provided so as to cover the coil end and projecting axially outward from the end surface of the stator core in the axial direction. The covering portion has a sealing material attachment portion to which a sealing material for sealing the gap between the circular ring member and the covering portion is attached. The sealing material attachment portion has an annular groove shape formed recessed radially inward on the outer circumferential surface of the covering portion, extends to the end portion of the covering portion on the axially outward side, and is opened.
