Abstract:
Provided is a stay that can prevent intrusion into the effective range of a main unit even when a damper is provided on a first arm. A stay (4) comprises: a first arm (5) that is rotatably connected to a main unit (1); and a second arm (6), one end (6a) of which is rotatably connected to the first arm (5) and the other end (6b) of which is rotatably connected to a door (2). At least a portion of a damper (9) is disposed inside a region (S1) enclosed by the main unit (1), the door (2), the first arm (5), and the second arm (6). The damper (9) comprises a housing (21) that is on the exterior of the first arm (5), and a slider (22) that moves with respect to the housing (21).
