Abstract:
A steam generator and a cooking apparatus including the same according to an embodiment of the present invention comprise: a water supply pipe through which steam water is introduced; a heating chamber including a chamber body and a chamber cover; and a steam heater for providing heat, wherein the steam heater is embedded in the chamber body, and the chamber body has a plurality of partitions protruding in one direction along the inner circumferential surface thereof, whereby a zigzag steam flow path can be provided for feed water introduced into the chamber body and steam formed by heating the feed water. Therefore, heat transfer conventionally concentrated only on a particular region can be distributed by the flow path provided in the chamber body, and thus steam can be stably generated even over repeated steam generating operations.
