A steam soot blowing system for a power plant boiler and an intelligent leak detection and identification method therefor. The system comprises an air inlet pipe, a desuperheating water inlet pipe, a soot blower main pipeline, soot blower branch pipelines, and soot blowers; the air inlet pipe and the desuperheating water inlet pipe both are connected to one end of the soot blower main pipeline; the other end of the soot blower main pipeline is connected to several soot blower branch pipelines; and each of the soot blower branch pipelines is provided with several soot blowers. The present technology can be implemented by using existing conditions, without needing to add a flow measurement device, a temperature measurement device, or a cable, and has the characteristics of being economical, having strong practicability, and the like. After implementation, real-time online intelligent leak detection and identification can be performed on the system before, during, and after operation.
