Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing a steel continuous casting method that can improve the quality of a cast slab that is cast in a period after the completion of casting. This steel continuous casting method performs continuous casting while subjecting a cast slab (3) to rolling reduction, wherein the cast slab (3) being continuously casted is subjected to rolling reduction, and after the completion of the casting, the rolling-reduction gradient of a segment (14) that is subjected to rolling reduction is changed, thereby controlling such that the rolling-reduction speed is within a prescribed range.
