Abstract:
Provided is a method and a device for efficiently and reliably cutting a steel frame. The cutting method includes: disposing a cutting torch (50) at a position away, in a direction along a cutting surface, from a steel frame (10A) held by a holding device; while setting a flame and supplying cutting oxygen from a burner (52) of the cutting torch (50) in a supply direction along the cutting surface, moving the cutting torch (50) from a cutting start position to a first cutting end position in a first feed direction perpendicular to the supply direction, thereby cutting a part of the cutting surface; and, after stopping the cutting torch (50) at the first cutting end position, moving the cutting torch (50) from the first cutting end position in a second feed direction opposite from the first feed direction, thereby cutting an uncut part.
