Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a steel pipe for high-pressure hydrogen that has high strength and a small fatigue crack growth rate in a range where ΔK regarding fatigue crack growth characteristics is 10 MPa·m1/2 or less. This steel pipe for high-pressure hydrogen has a component composition containing, in mass%, 0.05-0.60% of C, 0.001-2.0% of Si, 0.01-5.0% of Mn, 0.030% or less of P, 0.010% or less of S, 0.010% or less of N, 0.0001-1.00% of Al, 0.010% or less of O, and 0.00010% or less of H, the remainder being Fe and unavoidable impurities, and has a metal structure in which the area fraction of retained austenite is 3% or less (including 0%) and the number of inclusions having an aspect ratio of 2.0 or more and a length of 10 μm or more is 15/100 mm2 or less.
