Title:
STEEL PLATE EXCELLENT IN RESISTANCE TO FATIGUE CRACK PROGRESSION
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2005/113848
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
A steel plate, which has a chemical composition, in mass %, that C: 0.01 to 0.10 %, Si: 0.03 to 0.6 %, Mn: 0.3 to 2 %, solAl: 0.001 to 0.1 %, N: 0.0005 to 0.008 %, optionally one or more elements selected from at least one group of a first group to a third group, and the balance: Fe and impurities, and has a metal structure containing, in area %, 30 % or more of a bainite structure, 5 % or less of the sum of a martensite structure and a pearlite srtucture, and the balanced percentage of a ferrite structure; and a method for producing the steel plate. The above steel plate is a steel plate excellent in the resistance to fatigue fracture which is enhanced in the resistance to the progression by a repeated stress of a crack inherent in a welded zone or the like of a welded structure or the like.
