Abstract:

Proposed is manufacturing equipment capable of manufacturing a slab having good shape and good mechanical property by achieving uniform cooling in the cooling process while using a low pressure coolant spray in the descaling process. Specifically, a hot rolling machine (3), a hot leveling machine (5), a descaler (4) and a cooling machine (6) are arranged in this order in the direction of travel of the slab. The impact pressure (P) of the cooling water ejected toward the slab (6) at the descaler is set at 1.5 Mpa or more.
