Title:
STEEL SHEET FOR HIGH-HEAT-INPUT WELDING AND MANUFACTURING METHOD FOR SAME
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2023/233853
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present invention provides a steel material with which it is possible to achieve excellent toughness in the HAZ near a fusion line subjected to high-heat-input welding. Provided is a steel sheet for high-heat-input welding, said steel sheet having a specific composition wherein: Ca, O, and S satisfy a prescribed relationship; C, Mn, Ni, Cu, Cr, Mo, and V satisfy a prescribed relationship; Ti and N satisfy a prescribed relationship; and the remainder has a component composition of Fe and unavoidable impurities; ferrite in a location at 1/4 of the steel sheet thickness is at least 60% in terms of volume fraction; of the ferrite, the volume fraction of processed ferrite is at least 30% and at most 95%; and the hardness of a ferrite crystal particle unit is at least 120 in terms of the Vickers hardness.
