Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to propose: a steel sheet which has excellent joint toughness, excellent base material toughness and high tensile strength even at low temperatures of -60°C or less in a high heat input welding heat-affected zone where the welding heat input is 50 kJ/cm or more; and a method for producing this steel sheet. The present invention provides a steel sheet which contains specific components so as to satisfy formula (1) and formula (2), while containing 0.003% or less of Nb and having a specific structure and specific characteristics. Formula (1): 0 < (Ca - (0.18 + 130 × Ca) × O)/1.25/S < 1
Formula (2): Ceq. ≤ 0.36
Meanwhile, Ceq. = C + Mn/6 + (Cr + Mo + V)/5 + (Cu + Ni)/15.
In formula (1) and formula (2), the atomic symbols represent the contents (mass%) of the respective elements.
