A steel tower single-sided climbing-type lifting formwork, comprising a self-climbing system (21), a hoisting system attached to the self-climbing system (21), and a hoisting power system mounted on the hoisting system; the self-climbing system (21) comprises an anchor base (211) pre-buried on one side of the surface of the structure, a track (212) attached on the anchor base (211), and a climbing assembly (213) counter hooked on the track (212); the hoisting system is attached onto the climbing assembly (213), and extends a boom (2221a) toward the opposite side of the fixing surface of the self-climbing system (21); and the hoisting power system comprises a power assembly for executing lifting and translation processes arranged on the boom (2221a). Also disclosed is a method for mounting an inclined single-column steel cable tower, which uses the present steel tower single-sided climbing-type lifting formwork to implement mounting.
