Title:
STEEL WIRE AND SPRING
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2022/259606
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
This steel wire is formed of a steel containing 0.5-0.7 mass% of carbon, 1-2.5 mass% of silicon, 0.3-1 mass% of manganese, and 0.5-2 mass% of chromium, the remaining portion being iron and unavoidable impurities. The steel wire has a wire diameter of 0.5-2 mm. The steel wire has a tensile strength of 2000-2700 N/mm2 . The steel has a pearlite structure. The value of (S+5.8885×10-3)/T which is obtained by dividing, by the tensile strength T, a value obtained by adding 5.8885×10-3 to the lattice strain S of the steel is equal to or more than 4.8×10-6. Here, the unit of the tensile strength is N/mm2.
