Abstract:
This steer-by-wire type steering device comprises: a steering input device provided with a reaction force actuator that imparts steering reaction force to a steering operation input member; a steering device provided with a steering actuator that steers a steered wheel via the steering member; and a control device provided with a reaction force actuator output quantity decreasing unit that decreases an output quantity of the reaction force actuator when deviation between an operation quantity of the steering operation input member and a steering quantity of the steering member increases and a vehicle speed of a vehicle also increases. Due to this configuration, sudden movement of the steering operation input member can be suppressed even if the steered wheel collides with an obstacle when the vehicle speed is high.
