Abstract:
A steering angle estimation device comprises a steering angle sensor 13 that detects the steering angle of a steering device 1, a motor rotation angle sensor 31 that detects an electric angle of a motor 30 capable of imparting steering force to the steering device 1, and an actual steering angle estimation unit 120 that estimates the actual steering angle of the steering device 1, the actual steering angle estimation unit 120 estimating an angle conversion value, which is obtained by converting the electric angle detected by the motor rotation angle sensor 31 to an absolute steering angle, to be the actual steering angle when the difference between the angle conversion value and the steering angle detected by the steering angle sensor 13 is less than a prescribed value.
