Abstract:
A steering control method and system for an overhead transport vehicle, which are applied to the technical field of semiconductor wafer manufacturing devices. The steering control method for an overhead transport vehicle comprises: when steering control is required, first applying a first drive voltage (U1) to a rotating electromagnet (13) which is used for steering control guidance, and driving, by the rotating electromagnet (13), a guide wheel (11) to move on a slide rail (17), so as to cooperate with an overhead rail (2) to perform steering guidance; and when the guide wheel (11) moves on the slide rail (17) to a first designated position, switching to apply a second drive voltage (U2) to the rotating electromagnet (13), and after the guide wheel (11) moves on the slide rail (17) to a second designated position, continuing to apply a third drive voltage (U3) to the rotating electromagnet (13), and then powering same off. Different drive voltages are applied to a rotating electromagnet (13), such that the rotating electromagnet (13) is in different operation states during steering control.
