Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a telescopically adjustable steering device having a simplified structure. [Solution] A steering device 1 is provided with: a steering shaft 3; a jacket 16 comprising a single pipe; and a lock mechanism 60. The steering shaft 3 includes a first shaft 40 and a second shaft 50, which are fitted to each other so as to be extendable and retractable in an axial direction X. The jacket 16 rotatably supports the first shaft 40 and the second shaft 50 and is supported by a vehicle body 11. The lock mechanism 60 fastens and unfastens the first shaft 40 and the second shaft 50 to and from each other in the axial direction X.
