Abstract:
In the present invention, a steering assist actuator (800) electrically assists a steering operation performed by a driver in accordance with a detection value of a steering amount sensor (94). A lock device (20) is disposed more toward the driver than the steering sensor (94) and mechanically controls the steering rotation. A lock actuator (710) drives the lock device (20). A first circuit (68) energizes the steering assist actuator (800). A second circuit (67) energizes the lock actuator (710). A control unit (30) controls the first circuit (68) and the second circuit (67). While the first circuit (68) is in operation, the control circuit (30): causes the second circuit (67) to energize the lock actuator (710) in accordance with a steering angle equivalent value or estimated value; and causes the lock device (20) to operate.
